He didnt get bonked in the head though. The acorn fell on the car. The guy was just plain excited to use that gun. As they say, when your only tool is a hammer, every problem is a nail.

Aaron Bushnell self immolated himself and while on fire and dying, a cop stood 2m from him pointing a gun at a burning corpse instead of doing literally anything else that might have helped. As directly quoted from the video " I need fire extinguishers, not guns". And the cop still stood there with his blicky "just in case".
