I am in the EU and have updated to 17.4, however I don’t see these things that are mentioned (safari popups for browsers for example, alternative app stores in settings…) do I need to enable something?

- You are physically located in the EU as the time of trying, correct. That matters.

  You need to be in the EU geographically, plus have an European based Apple ID account. If you’re visiting the EU it won’t show up.

  Yes I am. I live there. But there was no pop up in safari. (Or anywhere else for that matter)

I’m just relieved I can keep my web apps.

If somebody could already install an alt store, please let me know. I think there isn’t any atm.

- None are out yet, AFAIK AltStore just got approved but isn’t released yet.

Excited to try transcripts for podcasts. I installed the Apple Podcast app a few weeks ago to get ready for this…

- I’m conflicted about that one. My favorite player, by a large margin, is Pocketcasts and I haven’t liked Apple’s podcast app in the past the multiple times I’ve tried it but this feature would be legit useful.

  Exact same boat. Pocket casts has been my app since it came out. I can’t live without closed captioning on tv so wondering if this will be cool in podcasts
