Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
This is a 99% likely buy for me, but there is zero reason to pre-order it right now. At least wait until a few days before release to read some early reviews.
I also don't meet the system requirements but that doesn't mean I won't try it and see if I can tweak it into a playable state. I sorta enjoy stuff like that.

1Bummer. The PC I built in 2017 is just not good enough here. CPU is only a Ryzen 7 1800x and benchmarks show it slightly being beaten out in all categories by the Ryzen 5 2600x.
0Yeah... I'm sitting here with a 1070. Gonna need to upgrade if I want to play this game.
