Anyone else have a shoulder cat?
Been her favorite spot since she was a kitten. For a while I thought she’d outgrow it, nope.
I have two!
First is my kitten Maryjane, who jumps up to beg for a can of food, second is the both Miles Morales and Maryjane.
Miles gets on my shoulder to both beg for a can of food and get better access to the houseplants.
19ReplyBeen having "Meh" day but you and OPs pics made it brighter, thank y'all for these
6ReplyHahahah that’s awesome. My other cat is a very content lap cat, I couldn’t imagine juggling two!
3ReplyWe have five cats total.
And two yellow labs.

Here she is as a tiny sleepy kitty
16ReplyMine just stands on my balls while on my lap and slowly extends his nails. It's his way of telling me it's snack time.
8ReplyMy lap cat does this when I stop petting him for 3/4’s of a second. :/

There's literally dozens of us
7ReplyThat’s incredible form for a shoulder cat! I couldn’t imagine mine sitting like that, she stretches out across my shoulders.
2ReplyShe's tiny at full grown. Only weighing about 4 pounds

Lately my cat starts meowing while standing at the shoe dresser. As soon as I go there he tries to climb on my shoulders. I bend over a bit and he climbs on my back and wants me to go around the house. I was enslaved as soon as he entered our home.
6ReplyThat’s how they getcha. And what are you going to do? Ignore their adorable little mews? They’re DyInG!

It's all fun and cute until your chilling gaming and then a 10lbs cannonball of fur and claws jumps on your shoulders and scares the everloving shit out of you. Still love it though
5ReplyI currently have fairly large claw marks up my back. Worth it. She’s normally pretty careful hahaha

I did. One of my cats liked to spend as much time as possible up there as a kitten. Then he grew into a long, muscular, 18-pound beastie, and continued to sit there. It was wonderful!
5ReplyThey make incredible scarfs in the morning when it’s kinda chilly lol
5ReplyI had similar. Quite the workout.

Yeah, but it's not mine. It's a stray that just hops on whenever I'm outside.
3ReplyThat might even be better. That’s cool that a stray trusts you like that.

Not mine, but I met a shoulder cat at the shelter today. This is him with a shelter volunteer.
3ReplyMine don't fit, but they both try just the same.
The younger one uses it as a means to tell me he wants attention or food
