Discord Quests have started (ads)

This was taken on my PC using Vesktop client

Edit: Could be alot worse I envisioned popups and such with videos playing etc

The first time I saw this was yesterday and I thought it was an April fools joke.
There's an opt-out in User Settings under Privacy & Safety.
- acting like thatll stay an option is a pretty good joke
So the way that promotion is worded, if I stream "the finals" to a friend for 15 minutes I'm guaranteed to receive that item, shipping paid for and all, like in a quest? Or are they just baiting and entering you in a lottery?
Seems like an easy way to farm real life merchandise.
- real merch would go crazy
- I don't think it's real merch it's in-game items
  
  That does make way more sense. Though, the ad makes it seem like a (clothing) set and not a skin, but I've never played the finals so I wouldn't know.

Heh, so you're halfway there already.
Find which CSS class this stupid thing uses, hide it and bye bye forever.
Matter of time until someone makes a plugin to stop the client from fetching new data from these endpoints
