Great, he has a rocket. But he doesn't say anything about what'll be in that rocket. He talks as if he can just buy an Interplanetary Civilization Starter Kit from the NASA shop, ship it and bang, multi planetary species. Reliably growing enough food in a closed loop system isn't a solved problem and is still being worked on. Not to mention habitats, industrial activities as such as mining, refining, fabrication, ...

I say let him have at it!

If he fail, we'll just roast the shit outta him.

If he succeed, we might get something useful (ignoring all his gloating).

Can we just strap Jeff and Elon to a rocket and shoot them at Mars? They both seem like they're in such a hurry, I feel like we should help them.
