Nest of eggs in garden in SoCal
I’ve seen lizards running around in the garden but these seem pretty big imo like 1-2cm
I’ve also seen a 4ft long California king snake
Those are definitely feline eggs. I've got 3 degrees in zoology and definitely know cat eggs when I see them.
25ReplyLies. Cats aren't kept in zoos.

6ReplyYeah the first two look like western skinks. The last one looks like a southern alligator lizard
Edit: Assuming the weed on the right is burclover, the eggs do look like they'd be about the right size. (5-7mm?)

No real way to get a sense of scale from the picture - how big are they?
5ReplyAt least 3/4
4ReplyYea sorry, they looked like 1-2cm. I went back and the cave nest is covered up now. I think to protect the eggs.
