Sack the horse and bring in one that'll be stuck just as bad, but will do it cheaper

After about a week they make the lowest tiered manager start pulling with the horse for an extra 30c and then that manager quits and eventually the company realizes infinite growth is no longer possible so they sell out to another company.

Nah, that obvious solution is equally corporate. I cannot tell you how often I’ve had to pull out this question in meetings with software management:

“It takes a combined orchestra and chorus of 120 people 70 minutes to play Beethoven’s 9th symphony. If we double the number of performers, how long will it take?”

Now this solution clearly isn't realistic. The horse ain't dead yet...
