- If the coffee machine goes down Janeway will lose her coffee AND the kids in the nursery will die
- Tuvix just HAD to be created the week the coffee machine was broken!
- More to the point, killing something onboard.
Who needs kids when the adults can be bouncing off the walls with enough coffee?
