How to make bathroom switches smart? They currently have 4 manual switches.
  • Should say you if you just want a simple timer you can (e.g. turn off street 30 mins) you can do with newer Shelley versions with built in scripting if you don't want to go for full automation system like home assistant.

  • I use a Shelley 1 for my bathroom fans. Shelley's all over my house for lights, something like 30 of them, very reliable.

All tied into homeassistant for automations. I use a humidity sensor to turn bathroom fan on and off.

BitTorrent is No Longer the 'King' of Upstream Internet Traffic
  • Same, real debrid or premiumize on kodi makes downloading mostly unnecessary. Occasionally I get something a bit niche I need to hunt down on torrent or Usenet, very rarely.

  • Bought our kids a second switch and bloody annoyed we can't play our previously bought games across both consoles.

Google Fu not responding with modchip installs done here, just checking on the off chance there's an NZ'er experienced in such things here. The micro soldering looks a bit outside my skillset. Cheers.

We bought all our boys a second Nintendo switch for Christmas only to find we can't sharen potentially bought games across them (bloody annoying).

Does anyone know anyone who fits modchips on these? The soldering is a bit too micro for my skill level.

    What's your filament usage rate?
  • The cost of having a fast printer ☺️ . I have an x1c now and my filament expenditure is way up. It's also so easy to print from the AMS.

Prusa MK4 or Bambu labs p1s
  • I think it depends how much you care about the FOSS credentials of Prusa - in terms of printer ease of use, quality, features, I think you'd have to go PS2. AMS by itself is real deal winner, even if you don't do mmu printing.
