Do you just pronounce it like "Travises" like we do colloquially? Or is there some way to do it.

Oh fuck no
  • Censoring swear words on text posts have been around long before TikTok, they just kicked it into overdrive. I really can't think of a reason why the censored version of memes get spread more than uncensored except to think that there are a dedicated group of people who pick up memes like this and spread the censored version before the uncensored version hits.

It makes some sort of sense for videos. TikTok and YouTube demonetized and suppress videos with swear words in them. And those platforms can make people money. I don't see why a text post would be censored, I don't know of many ways to make a lot of money off of reposting memes and even the few I could think of don't really care if they're censored.

  • It's a small enough industry with expensive enough parts. There's probably exactly one and a half companies that make cases for uses like this that provide the furnishings for every natural History museum.

  • What's great is that if I've learned anything from these chronically online streamers/grifters is that Pool will never give up the ghost and we'll get more and more desperate and hilarious content by him as he spirals.

Survey says half of developers consider VR market on decline or stagnation
  • Yeah there's nothing to do in VR. You can't play normal games and the cool VR games you can play are not worth buying a new console. Besides that there's no killer app, no 3D workspace environment that makes it worth it. The most worthwhile thing I've heard of is that if you're a frequent flyer, it can be a nice private way to watch movies or sometimes do work.

It feels like there should be something game changing to do in VR but whatever it is no one has made the program yet.

  • But it's a million across all states, and statistically most of that million are in NY and CA, especially because that's where younger people who are more likely to know about a show like this live.

  • Unfortunately, these shows aren't why it's a coin flip. The tim cast channel has just over 1 million subscribers and the recent episodes struggle to crack 100k on the best days.

The reason the election is a coinflip is cause there's swathes of the US that are barely connected to any form of media except fox news and spend their days in ultra-conservative ultra-religious echo chambers.

Don't get me wrong, the foreign and domestic shadowy investment money is working, just not the portion that was allocated to propping up the tim cast.

  • I mean the silver lining / horrifying truth is that they aren't able to support their show with the audience they have. The movement to prop them up is losing money on it and is not effective.
