Al-Qaeda Attack on Russians in Bamako Latest Setback for Russia’s Africa Corps

The menstrual police are coming: Inside the GOP's plan for total control over women
  • it’s sadly not even shocking anymore. This kind of stuff has been creeping in for a while now, and it’s exhausting to see how far some people are willing to go to control women’s bodies. Between the overturn of Roe v. Wade and now potentially enforcing an ancient law like the Comstock Act, it's clear that the fight over reproductive rights isn’t going anywhere. What blows my mind is how normalized this has become. We’re literally talking about tracking periods and cracking down on healthcare choices like it’s just another policy debate. It's terrifying, but unfortunately, it feels like par for the course in 2024 America.
