Jeremy Corbyn addresses meeting on formation of new leftwing party
  • Not really. While the green party is left of labour. Its green credentials are pretty poor. Nimbyism has made them choose some rather odd positions.

This is an issue as it is a one issue named party. So like labour making odd non worker beneficial policies harms labour among left wing. Those nimby votes harm green reputation among green.

And while the 2 Green and left are not really related. They have a freaking huge crossover on a venn diagram. So both are rejected by a large % of the left.

  • What politics? You are bringing up politics…

Pretty hard to talk UK immigration since 2016 and not be brining up politics. The wholer subject is about politics. Hence why.

Also, I never heard of immigration regime being subject to such things as disability anti discrimination laws.

Any law or process passed by parliament is required not to contradict other laws. That is the whole job of the House of Lords. To not be covered by discrimination laws, the immigration laws would need to specifically exclude it. They do not. Nor would the ECHR Treaties allow them to without leaving thos treaties.

Does autism is even count as disability? Maybe this is a UK or EU specific thing but it still does not pass a basic bullshit test.

Yes, it very much is counted as a disability. Historically, more so than now, As in the past autism and Asperger were considered different conditions. We now know they are just different levels of the same condition. This unfortunately has led to many uninformed people seeing all autism under the ideas that it is not a serious mental health condition. When for many it can leave you totally unable to interact with the world around you. Like all disabilities, the level can be very different. But they are still classed as a disability. And just like anyone else, government departments are required to make reasonable accommodations. And the immigration law has sp[specific exceptions to the dependency descriptions for exactly this reason.

The state generally reserves right to deny anyone entry or residency for any reason subject to some limitations.

Utter rubbish. The Geneva convention is just one example of a huge treaty covering a significant % of the planet that denies that daft claim. As it has rules about accepting asylum seekers right down to making any entry method legal is asylum is claimed.

As for this case, the ECHR has specific restrictions of the right to live as family. This means when one member of a family is accepted, dependents and those depended on must also be allowed. It also has laws that have to consider ability when classing a dependent.

Generally speaking adult children are not auto admitted, people with disabilities are not permitted to enter or stay just because they got a disability.

Legally, the level and effect of that disability must be considered under the compelling compassionate exception rule of the immigration act. But your definition ( just because they got a disability). Is sorta correct. It requires the effect of that disability on the dependents' ability to live alone to be taken into account. But the article indicates clearly that this girl has one of the more extreme cases of autism. As many do.

The law can include the exception but presumably discretion rests with the reviewing paper pusher.

No, in pretty much every case within civil service jobs. The paper pusher is required to follow a procedure. And that is why this turned to politics. Just after announcing the election, the Tory party changed those procedures to be more strict. Without changing the laws to match that change. This is not something legal for a government to do. This has been the reason the government loses 60% or more of court cases where they reject disability claims for benefit. (since 2010). Adding the same changes to HMRC is another mess that is just starting to show.

Is there evidence that this paper pusher acted in bad faith or mis applied the law?

The evidence is still to be addressed, but the accusation is the government miss applied the law when issuing changes to HMRC policy during the election period.

Why should “compassionate exemptions” apply to a 19 year old? did they supply evidence that she is in fact dependent on them beyond “we pay for her shit because we got money”

Covered very completely above. The law requires it if her condition means she is unable to live independently, as the article claims.

  • What you see here is your own interpretation from US politics. More to the point a lack of insight into the UK resent legal history.

The law specifically includes compassionate exemptions to the dependents' requirement. Because the UK has disability discrimination laws that also apply to mental health. Those laws come from the European court of human rights.

Something our last government was specifically creating guidelines to disobey. In an attempt to win support to remove the UK (a founding member of that court) from its treaty.

The result of this is abusing immigrants (this doctor cannot fight the law without leaving his dependent daughter)

The Tory government did loads of this crap to try and provoke division amongst those opposing them leading up to the election.

  • sorta but not.

The application was based on compassionate reasons. That potential exclusion is written into the law specifically to allow exceptions like this.

The HMRC specifically responded that no evidence of a compelling compassionate reason was provided.

So it is fair to assume someone in HMRC saw an application for an autistic 19yo dependent where the parents had stated she was not in a mental state to self-care. And decided that was not a valid reason to make the compassionate exception.

Your statistics are not a valid criticism of gen Z. But of our generation and our failure to support the end of FPTP over other issues.

A 2-second look at the fucking fiscal mess we as a generation have left by voting for property prices and removing support for the higher education costs we had. Makes it pretty clear why those opinions exist. They are not a rejection of politics. But a rejection of the politics pushed by our generation of voters.

Jeremy Corbyn addresses meeting on formation of new leftwing party
  • I suppose it’s possible they won’t make a pig’s ear of it and that the two-ish party rigidity of our system could be broken

It will only be broken when voters work together to ensure it.

The left as a whole are too willing to divide the vote. So fptp harms us more than the right, as empathy and emotion is a lower effect on their voting intentions. (I am in no way saying PR would end the right, just increase the power of the left to match actual vote share. )

So the only possible way w can change FPTP if for the left to agree voting reform is the primary importance. Everything else must take a back seat to this. And even then it would take a few parliaments before the effect was powerful enough.

Fear has a lot to do with the difference.

While Russia however badly maintained has the equiv nukes to the whole of nato.

The only difference is how much change in culture each generation has had to face.

Honeatly pre 1900s. One generation did not face much change from that of their grandparents world. Since then each generation has seen more change then the last. As technical groth has sped up notable even in my 50 plus yeae lifetime. The changes have been notable.

Plus, you may be underestimating the cost of current beaver reintroduction plans. Of course, both are needed for other reasons, environmental diversity wise. But south of 1 million is a positive, not negative, of this project. If it actually happens.

Should we reintroduce wild wolves to the British Isles
  • The biggest question I have, is how those planning this plan to address non human reasons they went extinct.

Because while human effect on the environment was a huge issue. It was not alone. Wolves and bears became isolated to the UK when the European land link flooded (dogger bank) after the ice age.

Much like any isolated population, this lead to genetic diversity issues. Both wolves and bears have large area needs for population diversity. Their territorial nature means groups need large areas. So diversity needs population mixing across those areas.

Back in the 1990 Scotland tried to introduce the wolf. To discover, lack of mixing lead to a high concentration of males vs females. Forcing them to cull the population. Expanding the project nationally may help. But would require safe passage from one territory to all others. And still lead to diversity issues as happened in the past. Bears are much more complicated. As the brown bear is the natural historical resident of the UK. And unlike wolves that avoid human contact due to nerves. Brown bears are much more likely to resort to aggression when humanity blocks its survival goals.

Its not an impossible issue to solve. But is likely to involve consistent investment in introducing new populations. As wolves and bears tend not to buy ferry tickets and use tinder for dating across the EU borders.

Should we reintroduce wild wolves to the British Isles
  • Given, the brown bear was the traditional UK bear, pre-Roman times.

It is rather hard to imagine them in modern day UK. The population living in areas they are introduced, would def need to be trained and prepared.

I cannot see that happening due to lack of support. Wolves we know as historical fairy tale villains. But in reality they avoid humans where they are still native. Brown bears have more fight than flight when taken by surprise. And don't tend to have the nervousness to avoid the interactions themselves. Hence, why travelling noisily is recommended in areas they reside.

Pretty sure everyone knows the bells on shoes joke.

  • The comparisons would be pretty invalid.

    Being as unbiased as possible.

Whether the events are as described or not. There is an argument of self-defence that exists for Israel. One that is pushed by our government and many of our allies. So the debate is over how true that is, and whether Israel response is valid. (not in my opinion, but the argument exists)

Whereas Russia had no potential self-defence claim. Even a false one against Ukraine. Even the questionable claim that they are run by Nazi supporters. Is in no way a valid reason to try and remove the existing government. No evidence even invented or exaggerated exists that Ukraine attacked Russia in any way.

So news wise. The only real comparison. Is the timeline.

If we are honest. Older British public are less likely to be at such a rally. Then younger ones who grew up with the internet. It is a US term, but I think one understood by most Brits likely to attend a rally.

As for the concept behind it. IE, that of race treason. This is very much an idea that exist in UK non-white culture. Even back in the 90s, we had east Asian TV comedy taking the piss out of people for such things. Rather well as I remember.

That said. Whether such ideas are actually racist is more a debate by the likes of white racist groups then much of the rest of the UK.

Given how much of both east Asian and African culture, Arrived in the UK due to commonwealth links before the anti-immigration laws of the 1970s (as UK exported most of its slavery. A small % of current residents arrived here via that route). And the fact that much of the home culture in commonwealth nations has been infected? (best word I can think of) by cosmetic and presentation standards preferred by white culture.

  • Sorry, this is not really 3d printing related. But as we have some cool folks here OS wise. I hopped you could help or point me the correct way.

As I have mentioned before my brother and I own a tiny narrow boat we are doing up.

The engine room is a nightmare. 4ft high with no top access. We are disabled (visual and flexibility basically old can't bend and classed as blind but some vision. ) So we have difficulty measuring exact space in a room we have to crawl through. Well it's very like Star Trek Jeffries tubes but greasy. ;)

We need to plan and mount electronics in there to support our use. (I sought advice on printing to help with this a while back and got fantastic help)

I am now starting to think having a 3d model of the engine room would make working out the layout much easier. So here is where advice is needed.

We are skint (poor for the US) so spending 1000s ain't an option. And likely not worth it anyway.

I have heard of android apps that use photographs. And that level of accuracy is likely fine for our planning needs.

But I'm a Linux 100% user. Since the late 90s So need some way to do this that can be done on Linux and fed into FreeCAD and or Blender.

Does anyone know much about tools in this space. And what the process for doing this with photographs is?

    11

I have never used a 3d printer. But have done a little research.

Be great if someone could confirm my intention is sane.

I have loads of Linux experience so my plans relate to open source all the way.

First off I am brassic(poor). So looking cheap all the way. My brother and I have a tiny narrowboat we are refitting. And plan to use the printer for stuff within the boat.

Due to this printing PA6 to go in the bilge is important. (Diesel and water bad for most other plastics)

As we are both vision impaired and old. The idea is most of the electrical mountings etc will be self designed and painted to make future access quick and easy with our rapidly worsening vision.

So my plan. I am looking at a elegoo Neptune 4 pro.

Because it is cheap but great value. Uses kipper. And seems easy to modify as I grow in use. Also supports temps needed for PA6 etc.

But I will need an enclosure to work with PA 6 and a dryer.

Dryer is cheap not an issue.

But I'm thinking of a tent enclosure. Some good well insulated ones on amazon for £50 with hose to vent out smells.

Will one of these tents be suitable for keeping temperature stable while printing PA6. And can anyone offer other advice for cheap solutions to make this easy.

    On a related novice front.

Gue to the vision. One of the projects is to print mounting boards for din rail fuses etc. The idea being to mix colours.

Ie flat surface faces from and back in white. The the inner support fram in a bright colour. This will mean holes to support thumb screws etc for easy low vision future maintainance. IE easy to find the pre set screw holes.

This plan means I can swap colours when printing layers so should be easy without over (for me) briced multi head printer.

But can anyone share experience with doing this with nylon. IE how dose delays in printing the layers while swapping filament t effect the linking of those layers.

As I say complete novice o the actual doing this so any advice will be helpful.

    11

Was watching the kings' speech on BBC. While the interviewed members of the 3 leading parties.

Amazing that the Tory member can make claims with no challenge. Specifically.

    >We will ensure labour stick to their promise not to raise taxes. (paraphrased)

They have claimed this throughout the election. Without labour or the media questioning it.

The actual promise. >Labour will not increase income tax, national insurance or VAT. (cut and paste from labour.org.uk)

This is not a promise to not raise taxes. It is about very specific taxes that generally affect the poorest more. Corp taxes capital gains etc are still free. But It seems intentional that Tories choose to ignore that.

Also, intentional that labour do not choose to publicly disagree.

    > Some claim about the nationalisation of rail costing a fortune.

While he included GB energy and others that do have some cost. He very openly attacked rail as the main cost.

This really needs challenging. Since privatisation, the government has spent way more inflation adjusted running the pseudo privatised gift to the shareholders. Then national rail ever cost. Nothing has improved since rail was privatised. (honestly safety has but due to modern standards not privatisation).

Nothing labour has promised is a cost sink. Yes, as company contracts end, the gov will need to take over running costs. But as we are already funding huge chunks of that cost now. The argument that nationalisation of rail is expensive is crap.

The more honest analysis is the Labour Party has little in the way of plans to fund needed improvements.

    ---

As much as I hate to admit, it's not going to happen.

The only reason to have the BBC is so that capital interests do not take over all UK media. And it really seems like the BBC no longer has that mantel.

Yes, the Tories worked hard to do this over the last 14 years, and the number of folks deciding the licence is no longer worth it. While hard to blame them, def has not helped.

But I can't help but wonder how we replace it. In 2024 how do we go about creating some form of a real news and current affairs channel that is free from commercial interests. Free from bias is going to be harder. Free from perceived bias impossible. Most consider the truth to have bias if it disagrees with their objective view.

Hi. I've not really used Windows since the early 2000. Even then not much.

I have a single mini PC with windows on. And use it only for device firmware updates. As a ham radio nerd. You get many devices that can only be modified via windows.

Anyway it was set up with dual boot the normal way. Windows first as it came with it. Then make a real Linux partition to use the PC on my boat while travelling.

Now the issue is I am upgrading the Mini PC. Basically replacing memory and the tiny 128gb ssd. So need to install it all from scratch.

I have order a copy of windows 11 from ebay. (At a price I consider acceptable for the crap)

But its going to take several days to arrive. And I would like to be more efficient.

So I am hoping folks can advice me on the best way to set up the PC with Linux first then install Windows 11 later. Knowing windows has a habit of messing up grub etc.

    22

This is opinion. So read it as such. But consider it please.

Obviously if you read this based on the title. I assume you oppose the Tories.

But if you are wondering why labour are so keen to manage expectations. There is a reason.

Campaign funding wise the Tories are estimated to be 19m ahead of labour. But honestly at the moment they are not spending a huge amount more.

We know the Tories are skilled at election manipulation. So there is genuine fear that the Tories plan to launch a campaign within the last few days.

I.E. when there is less time and funding to ensure fact checking is effective.

They know Starmer is more publicity aware then Corbyn was. He is able to play it in a way that dose not scare traditional Conservative voters.

They also know thanks to Boris, that the courts are unable to punish them for outright lies during any political campaign. And that Rishi is prepared to lie about and accuse civil servants of lying when challenged.

As huge as polling is against the Tories. All it would take is some dramatic claim against the party or Starmer. To convince Tory traditional voters to bite their tongue and vote Tory. While convincing left wing voters not to vote or to switch to 3rd party in seats where labour are the 1st or 2nd party.

The fact we know they have a huge amount of money unspent. Makes it clear they plan to launch something nearer the end of the election. And the only advantage of leaving it so late. Is it will limit the ability of the party to effectively react. Or fact checkers to be able to prove and distribute evidence of lies.

    Please be prepared for this.

    64

TLDR at the end I just post how I propose to convince the new parliament.

If polling is anything near to close. Starmer will enter parlimemt on the 5th with a landslide majority.

Time for us to remember the court case PM Johnson won for the 350m lie on a bus. The high Court simply stated.

Parliment has made no law banning lies during a campaign.

Well we really do have an opportunity to convince Starmer to change that. With Sunak and Co clearly following the last elections lead. Lieing about the civil service backing up their cost estimates.

It is time parliment tried to build confidence in election claims. This would only be practical when it comes to provable falsehoods of fact. Such as the claims made about Starmers campaign. After they have been informed the civil service did not analyse the data they used.

Unfortunately forcing a party to follow its manifesto is not really doable. And if parliment made the law. The next parliment would cancel it.

How to convince Starmer et al

OK so most will remember back in the coalition. The new government claimed to want to be responsive. So they set up an official, way for the public to request parliment do things. Resulting in parliment responding with crappy excuses every single time 10k signatures. Or a dumb argument in committee at 100k.

Now consider a new majority land slide parliment. Walking into government on July the 5th. With a social media publicised request to make it illegal for election campaigns, to continue to publish claims known to be false.

Its a simple law. If your party has received evidence that your clai is false. You must stop using it or face legal punishment.

So assuming 10k votes. The new government would need to write a response claiming they think lieing is OK.

Pretty sure the electorate can eviserate them on social media after that. Changing their mind. The new tory opposition leader. (Or Lib Dem maybe?). Would sure as he'll leap on the new government for such a claim.

But honestly to get the response needed. 100k signatures and the parliment required to have a public committee debate on their right to lie in campaigns.

No new government with a huge majority is going to be willing to face that.

    Help

If you have read this far. You will recognise, I am not great at grammar and my wording is not consise. So when it comes to writing the partition on the parliment website. Someone more skilled would be best. Or a discussion here as to the best wording etc.

Do please if this idea seem worth while. (Let's face it what have we to lose. A few mins a day signing a partition and posting to social media over the election. )

Then please join a discussion here. To try to push this idea forward over the next month.

    Uk PIP Changes

I am posting this here because it is the closest to a UK specific disability community.

If this is invalid please let me know. While I am not comfortable setting up a UK disability and benefits community alone. I am happy to help run one. It will just need a good few members willing to take an active role.

This post really is to discuse ( and rant) about the proposed changes to PIP the gov is proposing.

What really annoys me. Is the government seems to be getting away with pushing false data.

They keep using the differences in acceptance from 2010 to now.

With 0 recognition that the 2010 rejection rates were seriously flawed. With many winning appeals after being forced to take the gov to court. Where well over 60% were seen as false rejections.

Plus multiple reports of suicide due directly to DWP actions. It really bothers me that no media is pointing out this clearly false data.

While plenty are pointing out the culture war that the tories are clearly trying to start. Some of the charities challenging these distorted claims seems to be needed.

This is independent of other projects I have asked for help on. I'm just looking for anything done similar to my plan.

I am visually impaired. So tend to find most laptop pi projects way to small for common use. But also want an experimental bed for pie projects and experiments in genral.

So my idea is. I'll get a aluminium briefcase like case. Mount a 18 plus inch portable USB c powered display into the lid. It would also be nice if I could have my 15inch display fold out on a vesa mount. As an extra.

Inside the case id like to mount a large 18650 or similar lifepo4 batt. I'm thinking 4s 4p with a BMS so I can power usb 100w output with a 12v hub. This should allow out put to multiple monitors and a pie or 2.

I have a great small wireless keyboard and mouse. That could be popped in and out.

For the main board currently I'll use my waveshare CM4 poe board b with my 32/8 gb cm4.

But long term the itx cluster board looks good. When I have a bit more cash.

The main idea is it will allow me to connect multiple pcie riser cables to the boards via a 4 way wave share pcie switch to start with. Providing space to mount different boards and options as I change projects.

As folks may have seen from other projects. I move between home and my tiny narrowboat I share with my brother. So this will be more about being able to port multiple pie projects as much as being a usable PC type thing.

So if anyone has seen or worked on a project that may point to cool ways to mount this. I'd love to see them.

As I do not have a 3d printer. And cannot really argue the value for as rare as id use it. I am thinking alliminium plate cut and riveted to mount boards etc to the inside. But would love other ideas folks have seen or can come up with.

    7

Sorry I am expecting no here. But cannot help but hope someone knows a way around the limitation.

I have a project where I plan to use an nvme on a waveshare mini b io board.

I am just now learning my way around CM4 pies. So purchased a few parts to experiment before fitting to manage stuff on my boat.

Unfortunately I did not know enough whan I got the dev cm4. Seeing as the cost difference between Emmc and lite was tiny. I decided there was little to lose with getting a Emmc one. Not knowing the EMMC uses the same pin address as the SD slot on io boards.

I now know this will mean the SD card port is not available. As I plan to use that to move software updates.

I was wondering if anyone knows a software way of enabling the internal sd port. IE basically disabling the EMMC.

If not ill just set up with a USB SD reader so all my cm4 can run identical. But if I can use the one on the board. It will be simpler. Maybe have some option to reboot the boat cm4 in either option with an emergency os on the emmc in the event of a fault.

    0

    Hi again folks.

I am looking at a small project. Once again for my boat.

As this one really has very little need to write. Just regular temperature logging with time from multiple sources.

I am considering setting the pie to store all temporary files in memory. Running the main os from the SD card. And just using an extra USB storage for logging temps etc.

This should hopefully leave the system needing very little maintainance. With just the USB flash drive prown to wearing out every couple of years.

I'd be greatfull for any links to folks who have set up similar systems.

Or other ideas on safe low maintainance ways of running a pi zero os.

Hi. I am looking at using a cm4 and Waveshare mini io board. For a project I am setting up on my small narrowboat.

As the tiny antique single cylinder diesel engine. Means the boat suffers from a fair bit of vibration. And this will be the first time I have used a CM4.

I was hoping some folks could share there experiance/advice on using CM4 boards in similar rough environments.

I am planning to build a system mounted to din rails with rubber pads to absorb some of the vibration. But any other experience other have can only help.

This is for new boaters on the UK waterways. As experienced boaters have worked this out for themselves.

Of course the most usefull tool is your windlass. Without it you really cannot travel far on our canals.

But the application of a rear ended lock level detection device. Can seriously ease your time amd stress when passing through a lock. Of course not any device will be usable. There is a disturbing fasion for people to own hand held sized portable devices. Such RELLDD are unsuitable for most UK canal lock gates. Industrial sized devices are very much required. Fortunately you will find many stores along the canal. That specialise in providing enhancement solutions to your RELLDD. At very little expense. You may be able to enhance your device over just a few years.

If this is an unsuitable solution for you. Then please considers the option of other crew members with a more suitable RELLDD. Or you will often find other boaters very willing to help out. By adding their own RELLDD to the lock gate.

Now if you are single handing. And lacking a suitable device. Then over the last 30 years or so. Many Internet sites have started to help link the owners of such devices together.

Now I need to urge extream care with this approach. It is first important to remember many owners of such devices are unwilling to allow them to be used on the UK canal system. But more complex. Many with a suitable device whom may be very happy to travel the network with you. Tend to be uncomfortable with the suitability of their device. Due to this they will often also photograph the device using methods that limit its perceived suitability.

I strongly advice. That if the device seems desirable in other ways. Do not reject the owner purely based on photos indication of its UK lock gate suitability. Ensure you meet the owner and inspect the device. This in genral seems like good advice for any boating related acquisitions.

Here I feel I should remind members of our community. If you feel the urge to share pictures of your device. In the hope of finding other boaters willing to join you on you travels. Please ensure you check the rules of this community.

If ever you feel the need to thank rhe vollenteeer crt guys at some of the busy locks. Giving them a packet of biscuits to share with their cuppa. Go's down very well.

I tend to have loads of foxes jam rings on the boat. Due to T1d. But have heard from others that anything is loved. A d it seems like a very cheap way to reward these people for the time they spend.

Not much being posted atm. Given recent news, what little we have is negative.

I'll share my plans for posting at the end. But would like to request all our members try to post a bit about their use of our network. Pics are great. More so any wildlife. Personally, I love that about our network. But many also love the urban canal landscapes and infrastructure. Also, just a paragraph about issues you may see or fantastic history or questions you may have about our network. While boaters are a huge part of the canal. I really want this to be a group dedicated to all users that love our network.

The recent news about funding. Makes it clear this network is hugely valuable to the physical and mental health of our nation as a whole. Let's create a friendly environment where we share our feelings together.

Personally, I am off my boat until the 28th July. My brother, who is a much more skilled photographer than me, Currently has the boat at Ellesmere. He has agreed to send his photos to me once edited. So I will be posting those in aug. I also have acquired a camera that is easy for me to use as I am travelling single-handed. So will be sharing some myself when I take over. (They will be crap compared to my brothers).

A little about my brother and I so folks know what to expect from me as the admin.

We are both legally blind. IE, we have some vision, but it is very limited. As we have both now been forced to retire due to our health. We went together and purchased a tiny, narrow boat between us. (Our gran passed and left us 10k, She loved the canals as well, so we feel we are also filling her wishes)

So we got the 25ft Narrow Boat Alfred Wooley. She is slow with a tiny 12hp single cylinder engine. But we have done her up to the point we are happy travelling the network. But she is not big enough to spend much time with Me, my little dog and Chris and his guide dog together. So during the spring and summer we plan trips around the network, swapping over every few weeks. This is the 2nd year we are doing this. But are planning to continue for as long as our vision allows us. (Our home mooring is in central Oxford. Should anyone want to meet for beer sometime over the winter)

Chris is a very dedicated photographer. While he has no interest in social media. He is happy to share his pics via myself. So during the year many will be posted here. Myself. I have DSLRs etc. But amateur radio is my main hobby. So the boat is kitted with the option to add lots of antennas when moored (ill share some pics of that). But being less skilled than Chris at the photography. Also having a very old DSLR that is not suitable to use while travelling. I only have an older snapshot camera I use on the boat (canon g10). So will share pics and updates on my trip. But they will b more as I am passing records with Chris providing the good stuff.
