That's ideal conditions, so very few people would actually see that. If you don't have somewhere to charge, you can typically charge up at somewhere like a supermarket.
That's to test the incoming main, the actual grid on the floor doesn't get flushed. There's a lot of dead end pipes that can't be flushed.
I'll believe that when I see it.
Yes. A combination of rust, thread cutting oil, and water that has been in the pipes often since the system was filled. It smells, it will stain anything it touches, and it's a smell that's difficult to remove.
These AI images are getting good.
Imagine how much it would mess you up if this actually happened.
15 miles a day under ideal conditions isn't really a significant amount, most EVs could run for multiple weeks without being charged under those conditions.
There's also things like Sentinel mode on Teslas that use power.
My main gripe is people think a solar car will never need to be charged, or only on trips, and that's just not the case.
This happens with fire sprinklers a lot, one sprinkler goes off, and triggers the rest of the floor, or sometimes even building.
That's not how it works. Each sprinkler has it's own trigger mechanism, the glass bulb, and cannot trigger another sprinkler.
There are systems where this happens, but the sprinkler heads look very different, and you won't find them in an office building.
There's something that people really fail to grasp with solar, and that's the fact there is bugger all energy in the sun, and you need a huge surface area to get any meaningful energy.
A home solar array often takes up a significant chunk of the roof area, and the amount of surface area a car typically has means that even perfectly efficient solar panels wouldn't collect enough energy to significantly contribute to the vehicle's range.
There's a good reason why vehicle manufacturers don't bother adding them.
Hydrogen isn't less volatile though, it's actually much easier to ignite than any modern explosive.
An unarmed bomb can be dropped from cruising altitude onto a hard surface and not detonate. The US military has had nukes fall out of planes without breaching the radioactive core.
Also, the energy density of hydrogen is pretty poor, diesel electric hybrid on the other hand is a proven technology.
Even in locations where you are required to give notice, you can just pay out the notice period.
Someone who isn't a pedant would interpret "using the OS" as going through the start menu, or equivalent.
You are unbelievably pedantic.
A short press of the power button shuts down almost any computer in existence, why would you use the OS?
So far, every comment bar one has mentioned ad blockers.
The fact that almost everyone is saying the same thing is pretty much the definition of unoriginal.
I wonder how many people will just have the thing upside down?
Oh, this is exactly what I expected. Perhaps not 100% ad blockers, but I was expecting most of them to be like that.
So far, every comment bar one has mentioned ad blockers.
You lot are as original and creative as the numpties making comments about the size of the pilot's balls on aviation videos.
Hand-held radios used by Hezbollah detonated across Lebanon a day after deadly pager explosions.
They'll find a way to make two cups and a string explode, the way this is going.
The devices detonated across Lebanon, killing nine people and wounding nearly 3000 others.
Three grams of explosive on a custom board, that they can detonate at will.
Kinda terrifying actually.
Just a suggestion.
U/kSPvhmTOlwvMd7Y7E@programming.dev banned from dubvee.org for the reason >Ridiculous username makes me think I'm having a stroke
What a silly place.
I'm trying to work out why there are posts in here about users being banned from communities, when neither the user or the community are under their control. Is this being mirrored from somewhere, or is this something that's limited to what people on their instance see?
They are also, apparently, banning users that have never been to their instance.

I can just hear the pilot giggling as this contraption made it's flight.
The Ministry of Defence says the ship was struck by Ukrainian aircraft carrying guided missiles.
The explosion in the video is something to behold. I wouldn't be surprised if the ship is in two halves.
The controversial former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has died aged 100.
Took him long enough.
