Obsidian.md or emacs+org-mode with orgzly on Android. You can sync it via any sync service as it is just files. You can use Syncthing, for example.

Maybe give a try to Readarr. It can download books from BitTorrent network seamlessly.

Yeah, i am going to use off-site backup as well. Is snapshotting a thing in ext4 setup? don't wanna go with btrfs, i heard that raid 6 with it plays bad.
