  • There isn't much data either way. For trans women at least. Lots and lots of info about muscle mass, but nothing that actually ties it to athletic ability.

  • Shouldn't it say "in the same direction as the hand"? "In the direction of" is ambiguous. It could mean point towards the hand or point in the direction the hand is pointing.
