restoring a firefox profile after re-install doesn't restore it 100%
  • I mean in the guide given by Firefox about this they said to copy the desired profile only, i guess perhaps it's too late now and i need to re-do my profile?

  • Hi,

    Recently i accidentally messed up my system on Linux and had to re-install it, i backed up my Firefox profiles before re-installing. Now i tried to follow the following guide that is made my Mozilla about restoring Firefox profiles to a new PC https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles, after following the steps i find that not everything is kept. For example, the extensions i have installed were there but it was like i just installed them since they had none of the previous data of my old Firefox install. Another apparent example is the firefoxcss that i had previously in my computer didn't seem to work (i probably have to re-enable it). in my profile i ticked the option for deleting cookies every time i close Firefox, while this works, i think it works too well because it resets Firefox entirely, like it will even remove extension data if i did any modifications to them, and will give me the welcome to Firefox screen thingy.

    So i was wondering if there was a possible fix for it somehow since i don't want to re-do my profiles manually.

    Hello, i recently uninstalled mangohud because i couldn't figure out why 32bit mangohud wasn't working at all. i tried to compile it again with 32bit and now every time i try to launch a game that runs proton it just opens for a few seconds then crashes immediately. The only game that ran with mangohud was a linux native game. I tried to uninstall it again but with sudo apt purge mangohud and then decided to use the build script and the issue still persists.

    Games that crash:

    Bloons TD 6

    Rocket League (via Heroic Game Launcher)

    The game that did work:

    Serious Sam Fusion 2017 (beta)

    here is a video demonstrating what happens https://imgur.com/a/PaWVYgL

    CPU is an intel i5 10th gen

    GPU is a 1650 TI

    latest version of mangohud

    im on a laptop.

    Hi, i was trying to change the background of the pocket stories in the Firefox homepage with this code

    ``` @-moz-document url("about:home"), url("about:newtab"){ div.meta{ background-color: #08111c !important; } }
    ``` yet the pocket stories are still the same default grey color.

    !

    What is wrong with my code?
