Nah, Xi stomping on the rich is like the one thing I can't complain about. More governments should follow suit on that.
"No, John. You are the demons."
And then John was a zombie.
I agree that the man is clearly off his rocker, but from a legal perspective, what matters is whether or not you understand that you have, in fact, killed a dude, and that this is in fact a bad thing. Having voices in your head telling you to do it is a completely separate issue. Again, this is my understanding as a layman, so any actual lawyers please feel free to tell me I'm full of shit.
My understanding is that insanity defense has a very high bar, beyond what the public would commonly consider "crazy", so it's not actually something that happens often. And even then, actually getting out of whatever institution you're remanded to isn't guaranteed.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this person has never once done anything that would actually help service members or veterans.
The pigeon lady saved the day, though. So on that basis alone, it couldn't have been Piers Morgan.
Aw, snowflake got triggered.
Well, how else would we know it's a pineapple and thus get triggered?
CAH also explicitly said that what they were doing should be illegal.
Hey man, President Convict would have stopped stroking Vlad's balls while choking on his dick! That would've showed him.
That's okay, unbaptized infants get a free pass to heaven! Y'know, because admitting the alternative is actually the case would be pretty fucked.
What's that you say? Fetuses would also get a free pass? Shut up with your dirty heathen logic!
I mean, according to Revelation the faithful spend literally every moment on their knees locked in prayer venerating their god, so...
This is not a problem if you drive at the speed limit. Then what happens is that everyone else, who will be speeding, will continually pass you and thus create more car lengths in front of you. Unless you're in a no passing zone on a two lane road, in which case they can follow the speed limit for once.
Actually, Rebels is supposed to take place between the Reva show and ANH, and he's depicted as cartoon Alec Guinness there.
It always amuses me that we're supposed to believe that in the span of 5 years Obi-wan goes from looking like Ewan McGregor to looking like Alec Guinness.
Texas choosing to not execute a man (for now)? Surprising, but not unwelcome.
Also:
In a response to that petition, the Texas Attorney General's Office said Roberson had failed to prove his "actual innocence," and that the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals had ruled Nikki's injuries were "inconsistent with a short fall from a bed or complications from a virus."
That's... not how the burdern of proof works at all?
The article doesn't make it sound like the direction he's actually taking, but he could potentially sue for defamation, since they're attributing the messages to him, which he denies is true, and the messages have had a pretty apparent negative effect on him. Seems like he's suing for leaking his PII instead though, so I guess he's doubling down on the notion that someone apparently went through a lot of effort to fake everything.
Wouldn't that just be the SNES controller that Switch Online subscribers can buy?
Wouldn't mind getting the final act of the Aenid. C'mon Virgil, I believe in you!
So, obviously, if you go to a brick-n-mortar store and buy something there, it counts as a sale for the store, with stores that don't get enough sales often closing. But if I order something online from, say, Best Buy and pick it up in store, how is that tracked? Does it count as a sale for the store, even though I didn't actually buy it there? If not, do companies use a separate metric (ie this store doesn't get as many sales, but people still come in to pick up stuff, so we'll keep it open)?
