  • Nah you're definitely right. The whole insufferable leftist stereotype is kinda true haha

  • I'll never stop stealing from MegaCorps! Or rat anyone out ever

  • I've stolen soo much from retail stores with these signs and cameras. They're bluffing 80% of the time or just too lazy to stop me lmao

Or you literally just carry the item, walk to a corner without a camera, put it in your pants, walk out. Get fucked Walmart

Edit: plz don't read this and go get yourself in trouble lol be smart

  • Low-key, except we're trying our hardest to not stand by idly yet everyone insists we should and just vote instead.

Then we're arrested or intimidated with felony charges only to be dropped last minute

  • WAS JUST GONNA POST THIS SAW IT 10 MINUTES AGO

    YESSSSS FINALLY

  • The revolutionaries of the past are looking down on us with hope. I imagine the entirety of the first communist wave chanting our names in unison.

They've laid the groundwork, let us finish the job!

  • Should make the hat of this cartoon the green bandana haha

  • Oh, they will, no doubt. But I'm in it for the long haul at this point. No turning back.

Sure. They've got one of the most advanced and powerful military and surveillance states to ever exist. But that does not mean they are invincible. To me it is not a matter of if we can take them down once we have the organization. That seems quite likely. To me the hard part is if we can get that organization in the first place, given our less than empathetic, less than determined, less than intelligent population. Not to dehumanize, just saying, lots of Americans are clearly really dumb.

We're very close to that fascism we speak of being applied broadly to every working class citizen and not just the minorities as it is now. That means it's time to get to work, and to be prepared for a very bumpy, painful, and potentially liberating ride.

I know we can do this.

  • Yeah they've got a certain taste

  • I'm assuming it's a media whirlwind after looking a little more into the historical context of this situation. It's happened a few times before and has been fixed last minute.

Let me know if I'm wrong

  • This is interesting, I've noticed this too, specifically on TikTok. "Good" content creators (those who share Parenti lecture clips, information on theory, or just educational content) have to pair it with a video game or something at the bottom to keep people seeing/watching/stimulated. It's fucked up, imo

  • Ya know, when I first got here/to GenZedong a year ago, I was very skeptical of the takes we had. Felt sort of conspiracy theory-ish, like a weird alt-right pipeline type of thing. Then I realized it was just fog of war and living in the West where the majoirty of the world's opinion is discarded and we're pounded with propaganda everyday.

How the fuck did you all get it right? I mean, be honest! Not just the obvious "Russia is going to win," but even the slow acceptance by the west, the changing world order/de-dollarization happening, the European winter issue, etc. Luck? Or is DiaMat/HisMat/MLism that legit?

  • Yeah no shot someone understands Marxism and then "leaves" it. Especially not to anarchism.

I can sympathize with the hope getting dimmer, it really is dire. But the nihilistic "let's do nothing and bask in sadness while the world burns" is just dumb. I'd rather go out trying.

  • I actually completely agree with you, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I don't believe we're on the precipice of a revolution or anything but given the right material circumstances, good organizing and mobilizing of the people, and a little luck, anything could happen in a few years time.

The contradictions are sharpening faster than ever before and they are a weapon that, if wielded properly, can deliver the blow to the US that the world needs.

If you would have told Lenin in 1914 that in just 3 short years a revolution was accomplished, he would have laughed in your face. I am not calling for head in the clouds idealism, or that America is going to collapse next month or something like that. My point is that it will take work and time, that revolution does not occur spontaneously, and that if we do this correctly I genuinely believe the US doesn't have to be the last to fall.

  • This sounds similar to the word "conspiracy" becoming an inherent negative and not what the definition of the word is.

Thank you for the explanation, that was very helpful!

  • Honestly, even the argument that she "holds no real power" (which is flawed at best but we will take it at face value) doesn't sit right with me. Okay, removed, you still want the tradition of having a monarch? Even for looks? You know where that wealth could go?

Let's bring back fake slavery, for old times' sake, right?

  • GenZedong @lemmygrad.ml

    Is overpopulation a legitimate threat?

    GenZedong @lemmygrad.ml

What do you guys think about leftist unity?

    GenZedong @lemmygrad.ml

Am I right to get angry when people "don't do politics" or blow it off/demonstrate apathy?

    Collapse @lemmy.ml

Too hot to handle: Crumbling US infrastructure melts under excessive heat

    GenZedong @lemmygrad.ml

What are some predictions for the future of the USA and the West?
