  • Minuet was a fake person created specifically for him to hit every single one of his check boxes and desireable traits. After a few years he probably still had an innate desire for her because she was absolutely unattainable... because Riker has rarely encountered a women that was unattainable.

  • And they get pissy when I ask why they didn’t reach out to “otherperson@org.org

But then they go to your supervisor why you're not very responsive and how this impacts their productivity.... completely ignoring the number of times when you reach out to them and they usually reply that they're too busy to assist

  • This question came up a lot in DaystromInstitute.

The general headcanon is that rent, access to the stations grid and crew for maintenance is credited at fair market value for officers to use at Quarks. Plus having a steady stream of Starfleet or Bajoran officers there would deter general crime and ruckus, much like why gas stations tend to offer free coffee for cops.

  • That listing was just off the top of my head. Though the funnier connection is Hague (Robert Foxworth) "died" in B5 because his agent double booked him on DS9 as Layton so they brought in Ryan (Bruce McGill). There is even a funny outtake where McGill references it. Even funnier is the producers intended to get Everett McGill but got names mixed up and got Bruce instead
