A bit of sadness
  • This maybe a joke here, but if you have been in a cruise, you know how good it feels to get to your table and the server is already bringing you choice of beverage and maybe even the appetizer you always order.

Saturn’s majestic rings will vanish in just six months from now
  • I have a stupid question. If I took a spaceship and went there, would I be able to fly through the rings? Like, up close is it a big empty place like “asteroid belts”?

is your blue my blue ?
  • 182 for me. Interesting, I have a little bit of synesthesia. When I see turquoise, a very specific taste comes in my mouth.

    Breakfast time!!!
  • I’m ashamed to say that my daughter asked once for eggs with Nutella. Thank the heavens she doesn’t care about Nutella anymore.

  • It started after the last update on Xbox series X. Sometimes the loading screen freezes and I need to force quit the game. When I come back and try the Continue button, it breaks. I need to load an old save to actually load the game.

Flight attendant slams passenger for making bread on board, ‘I hate people like you’
  • Off topic: ok, weird, I clicked on the link and then I wanted to share with my wife, that loves baking. When I touch the iOS share button, a completely different link is copied.

Plaything or peril? Brazilian kites are endangering lives and prompting a push for a national ban | AP News
  • Cerol is old story. You can do it at home. Ground glass and glue. That’s all you need.

Kite fight is almost a tradition in Brazil. The real masters of kite fighting are capable of even capturing the enemy’s kite, wrapping it their own kite’s tail (called rabiola).

Now, when they do this near a highway, the razor sharp line can fall into traffic and cut through the necks of people in bikes. I had a line crossed in front of me once. I was in a car and the line wrapped on my mirror. I didn’t stop there because I thought it was dangerous. When I finally did, the line was embedded into the mirror’s casing, having cut through the plastic.

Another thing that can cause death related to kites. Kids love running after the cut ones. And they’re usually looking up, not sideways when running. So, being struck by a car is easy.

I'm not talking about the temples, but the traits that appear on a planet that might have a temple. They're just broken structures that we can scan and a source of caelumite. But, lore-wise, what are they? And why are they all destroyed?

Until now, my favorite is Shieldbreaker. I like that there are no stairs, the first gun is way too advanced and the big cargo hold. Now I have a modified version of a Crimson Fleet ship (don't remember the name). It's a class C with huge cargo space. I put some science and workshop bays, but the stairs started to pop up. The interface is terrible at this point. What the modules show outside doesn't represent the inside.

Could we list here the easter we found, or do you prefer a post per easter egg?

I just heard "Doc" Manning saying "please state the nature of your medical emergency", which is a phrase used by the holodoc in Star Trek Voyager (and others).

I also found a "earbug" in Pilgrim's Rest, which in my mind, is a reference to Star Trek 2.
