Oh nice one! The damage potential is pretty good

I believe it’s like any other beast companion/familiar and so it can take the help action. Guess it’s down to the DM deciding if it’s allowed.

Okay. Semantics. I would have the trigger be the drake engaging with the enemy?

Also curious to know other strategies you may have for the ranger and drake combo
