I don't think this is what people voted for when they elected this coalition...

'Weimar Republic was progressive' is a propaganda take by Germany to make them feel like the nazis happened in isolation. Your understanding of the Weimar Republic isn't materialist. Rather than talk about quantum mechanics which had no impact on the workers, you could talk about how the SPD killed Karl and Rosa and wiping out communists to make sure that there was no chance of a workers state. And look what it led to... So anyway I would say I'm not being hard on the Weimar Republic

The Black, Red, Yellow has a pretty lame background. It supposedly represents the colours of the three centrist parties which created the German Republic under Ebert. The Weimar government was an anti communist state who lead to the creation of the nazis. So it's right to be critical of that, but replacing it with the colours you have chosen basically looks like an actual Nazbol to anyone in the know. The background flag is flown by nazis in Germany today, because the swastika is forbidden they use that flag. I think a lot of people with German antifascist experience will recognise that. So I would say retire this one

What does it represent?

I like how they think they oppose the tzar but also would happily kill the people who you know... Oppose the tzar and state a revolution? Nothing more than western imperialists.

Before it ended I spoke briefly to the spokesperson for the Belarussian Cyber Partisans about the way her organisation strives to do nation building in post Lukashenko Belarus. She said her vision for a future for her country is an agreement with Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, and Turkey in an alliance serving as a buffer zone to Europe, getting funding from the EU and building tech incubators to get US military investment. Of course I said, 'so fortress Europe can be even more insulated with a layer of buffer from a nationalistic slavic alliance?' to which she excitedly said 'YES!' She finished by saying that they would need to foster a sense of national identity for people to coalesce around. I had to ask her how much the USA is involved in all this and she said 'they don't care enough to help' lol.

She also said she wants Belarus to take back Vilnius as a 'kind of joke'.

I think she was honest with me as well. Just crazy how the 'hacker scene' is so well called to heel for the US empire.

The event was a hacker conference full of digitalactivists, 'cyber partisans', and 'digital freedom' types from mostly Europe. These people love doing 'hacktivism' that just happens to overlap with the interests of Nato cyber warfare strategy 🤔
