The jury in Erin Patterson's triple-murder trial has found her guilty of murdering three relatives by deliberately lacing a beef Wellington lunch with death cap mushrooms. Follow the verdict as it happened.
Bleh, got tonsillitis over the weekend but thankfully on the tail end of it now!
Annoyingly sometimes a main road or highway is the only way to find relatively flat terrain. Where I live the moment you are off the main road you're into endless hills, makes it difficult if you're trying to keep your heart rate in a certain range!
Though completely agree about using suburban streets for running. Much nicer than major roads!
Same, there seemed to be a constellation of evidence but nothing that definitively showed she was going to murder her guests. It will be interesting as I read somewhere that she can still appeal this decision, I assume to the high court if they'll accept it.

Erin Patterson found guilty of three counts of murder
Don't know if it's already been posted, happy for mods to delete if it's already posted somewhere else!
AI has been used for years in radiology. We've been using RapidAI for detection of large vessel occlusions in stroke patients for clot retrieval at my facility for as long as I've worked there.
Sounds like I'm going to be fighting for the building clothes line again.
Looks like a clear week ahead with sunny days throughout! Unless the BOM are telling fibs again!
Definitely! Joined a small running club recently which has been great in getting me back outside and braving the cold!
That's fair! To be honest it's good to support local businesses! So I took a quick look and there are three places in Mosman that I can find. Persica on Ave Rd, and then Mosman Fruit and Best Fruits which are both on military Rd.
Only other I can think of off the top of my head is the fruit and veg shop called Greenwood Grocer next to North Sydney station! Other than that I don't think I've seen anything off the top of my head but I'll let you know if I do!
You could always try a Harris farm market, if that meets your not chain market requirement? Otherwise there use to be a couple of green grocers in Mosman. One on Avenue Rd and another on military iirc (though it's been quite a few years since I've checked them out!)
Loving this cold snap! Though it's making it harder to convince myself to get out and go for a run!
Hopefully people are enjoying the long weekend, mine's been spent at work!
Sure that might be the case but we shouldn't be basing our response now on how they responded over 100 years ago. If cars only began to appear a few years ago we'd be looking at a similar suspension.
A temporary suspension to give time for regulations to be made to minimise accidents and increase safety is a good idea. Hopefully they'll be able to talk to the e-scooter companies to look at things like speed caps in pedestrian areas.
Was that the Glebe antique Market? Found some neat stuff there last time!
I'm surprised it's not something that the coroner would be referred to. Though, I wonder if they're waiting to see what the findings are from the autopsy. From what I had read last they hadn't identified a definitive cause of death.
Oof, sounds like an expensive job for strata.
Agreed, will be good as it will require all parties to compete to pass bills!
Though sadly it probably is just temporary until a liberal spill occurs in a few years. Sounds like the Nats leader did a bit of a dog act announcing this now to Sussan
While as some have said, this is probably just political theatre and they'll renegotiate an agreement before the next federal election. It does however pose some interesting points depending on who broke off.
You've got the nats breaking the coalition possibly feeling emboldened by the most recent results. However I can't see how they really gain any seats outside electorates they already hold seats for.
I think it's far more interesting if you look at it from the libs breaking the coalition. You now have the libs free from far right policy agreements that they would have passed in a coalition so you could see the libs in the senate being able to help vote more centre labor policies. Might shift power away from the greens in the senate.
Definitely an interesting development and not something I would have expected as an outcome from the election!
Rip my bedsheets, was hoping to dry them on the line this week...
So happy with the result this election. Hopefully a sign of elections to come!
Maybe some on the north shore! Though always open to suggestions!
Mainly cleaning, running and voting! If the weather brightens up I'll look at some hiking trails for some animal photography!

'Limited incentive' for Coles and Woolworths to compete vigorously on price, and margins have risen, ACCC finds

The consumer watchdog finds Australia's supermarkets are more profitable than their global peers and the two majors don't need to compete "vigorously", but the ACCC stops short of declaring grocery prices excessive.

Interesting reading the article. Would be good to see the complete ACCC report.
