Oh man I did amazing makeup last night. I was super proud of it and I posted a couple of pictures in the weekly chatter thread, but then I woke up in the middle of the night and deleted them because I'm leery of putting my face on the internet.

I think a lot of men are simultaneously attracted to and grossed out by vaginas. They don't have anything equivalent on their bodies and so they may assume the natural odor of a healthy vagina is actually unhealthy or indicates bad hygiene. Many of them seem suuuper ill-informed and yet opinionated about how women should clean themselves. I also think it's just a really easy way for them to disparage women.

If you can tolerate the birth control pill, take it continuously, skipping the placebo pills. I did this for years (at my doctor's direction) and never had to have a period. It was awesome. Unfortunately I had to go off the pill to start HRT for perimenopause and now aunt flo is back >:(

It was 2000 and I was working as a stablehand: mucking out horse stalls, feeding, watering, turning out horses into the paddocks, tacking/untacking/grooming lesson horses from 7 AM to 4 PM six days a week for 5 bucks an hour under the table. January & February were the worst because the water buckets in each stall would freeze solid overnight and I had to bash the ice out of every single one in the morning (the barn didn't have hot running water to melt it with).

Yep! I bought mine in 2007 and I'm still using it. I don't bother filling it with acetone, I just put the acetone in a shot glass along with the corrector pen so that the nib gets soaked. It comes with an extra nib and you can also trim the nib with scissors when it starts getting a little frayed.

This is exactly why I love Kira. It's such a joy to see a well written female character with a complicated, traumatic past who isn't defined by it.
