Kid is 17. I fully expect the motive to be something stupid like 'inspired by movie character'. Even better headlines if its inspired by either a hard rock band or a video game character.
We can get bread and juice in paper and cardboard packaging, but I've never heard of noodles in anything other than plastic. Almost all our noodle products come from Asia, so food miles is probably a bigger variable than the wrapping.
I'm flipping between this response, and @a1studmuffin's response - how the hell do you go broke running a casino? A state monopoly casino with no competition?
Yeah, I can appreciate that. I liked Serana however. She's sarcastic and sassy and can hold her own in a fight. She has more depth than the average NPC. Plus huskies!
I hated that long quest through that valley with the urn though. It sucks on survival mode.
I've only ever had them both (also hearthstone) at the same time, so I can't really separate them. I enjoyed them both, though. I like that island is distinct from Skyrim. I find the ash depressing after a while though and look forward to getting it over and done with.
I'm not a fan of the plane of oblivion inside the books, either. Some people love that aesthetic, I did not.
On Dawnguard, I never liked the castle either. Also depressing and wouldn't want the vampire life. I completed the vampire tree for the achievement, then cured vampirysm immediately.
The store name/URL is wonderful - definite winner, there. It's memorable and easy to type.
There's something really off about the models. If those are real women, they've been airbrushed into the uncanny valley. If they're AI-generated, that would make sense. I have no idea how you could go about fixing them, but yeah - that'd be my first priority in your shoes. Photoshoots and models are super expensive, I realise.
I don't know about the rave scene or what what the GenZ crowd in general are into. I can say that I doubt any of this stuff would appeal to my wife though. Possibly the red one? By targeting a crowd, are you turning off a large potential client base?
The website itself looks basic - like a template off square or wordpress or something. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I'd emphasise that you are real some more - ABN, Contact details etc.
The three things I care about as a customer are: Quality, Price and how long it takes for my stuff to arrive. I'm variable on #2, depending on #3. I'll pay more to have my stuff sooner. If it's going to take two weeks to come from China, be super clear about this.
As to quality, be really upfront about that. If the quality of the product is dubious, don't try and spin it as excellent quality.
There's probably a lot more to cover. At a glance, the range of products looks really limiting. I'm at work and can't really be closely scrutinising a lingerie store, so I only spent about 2 minutes on the site. A wider range will probably increase the trustworthiness of the site.
They're putting a lot of weight on the word 'infiltrate', here. If I joined the local Labor party chapter, went along to meetings and participated in discussions, have I 'infiltrated' the Labor party?
The article spends a lot of time talking about these people and very little on the impact (if any) they had on the policy of the Labor party. It sounds like the guy tried to influence proceedings and was shot down. Did I miss something?
He said the crowd grew as it moved through Darlinghurst, in Sydney's inner east, with many spilling out of clubs and bars into the procession.
"A lot of people were just hanging around and joined the parade. [They] didn't know about it, but just on the basis that it was a celebration."
I love this so much. A tiny start with a few people, a banner and a truck turns into a spontaneous party as they meander past the clubs. And look how big it is today!
To defend the ABC: While there isn't much WA content on there, they also don't really miss anything big. Sure, they may not cover stuff like a local mayor dropping out of the race a couple of days ahead of an election, but also - that sort of stuff isn't really that big of a deal.
Other than the obnoxious advertising on the site, I'm not too adverse to Fairfax coverage. It is far better and more reliable than Newscorp.
One Nation has been like this for 30+ years. They have needed neither influence nor inspiration from any international sources. They're horrible all on their own.
Honestly? Mostly word of mouth. People discussing stuff like that doctor who crashed last weekend and the firebug on Jacobs ladder etc. I read the ABC news website most days, but there isn't really enough WA stuff on there to say it's a great source of local news.
When and where is this African festival you speak of? That sounds really fun
I missed the festival and fireworks, personally. I could hear the distant booming, so I googled "Fireworks Perth Feb 23" and was sent to this site. That's what told me the festival was on and having fireworks. You are right though, it sounds like it would have been a lot of fun.
I mean, I'd probably participate (I do in the Melbourne one regularly, Brisbane occasionally), but I haven't exactly felt an absence of such a thread. I guess something like "Fireworks! / It's for the African festival" could be a thing.
WA politics is boring, Antony Greene has already effectively called the election for Labor. About the only questions are whether Basil wins in Churchlands and how many seats we give back to the Liberal Party after their term in the sin-bin. And what that number means for the Federal election in May.
WA weather is boring, it's marvellous and most of Australia would kill for it but we totally take it for granted.
Interesting news stuff in WA already gets posted somewhere.
It is alive and for sale. I was an avid Ingress player in it's infancy days. I'm actually responsible for no small number of pokestops around Melbourne. The Preston strip in particular is mostly my work.
Can confirm that I bought blueberries in Denmark (WA town) last month in a cardboard punnet. I thought it was just what the local farm that sold to the IGA did. I'm glad to hear it's more widespread and potentially rolling out to everyone.
