Whenever I see this accusation I'm reminded of the opposite accusation:
" Are white western people biologically predisposed to colonising the globe, imposing dictators on non-white people (incl Arabs), and normalising genocide and violence on non-white people ... all whilst maintaining a beautiful polite decorum around the superiority of human rights and democracy?"
I genuinely believe the Western world will somehow ignore the genocide and move on. They'll find it very easy because the genocide and their role in it is rather inconvenient to acknowledge. And many citizens will be more than happy to forget and ignore, because at the deepest level, they are less aligned with brown people than "one of us" people.
The uphill difficulty will be faced by those who want to ensure history preserves records of what happened, and by those that seek justice.
No-one has been put on trial for the Iraq war and the subsequent horrors. Lots of kids today weren't even born in 2003.
If winners write history, we can only get justice by winning.
