Like, I get it, we enjoy the privileges and share the responsibility to change shit. But responsibility and blame are two different things.
The original commenter said that burning down Teslas might destroy the owners life. This is a car that costs somewhere between 40000 (?) and 150000 dollars. Someone who can afford that is highly likely to recover. That's what this commenter pointed out.
Stating that isn't saying that it's cool to burn down a random person's car.

Probably, but I'd only believe that there is really nothing to be done once I see someone actually left-leaning attempt everything in their toolbox.
I believe Sanders would have tried to change as much as possible in the US. I also believe that he would have failed regarding a lot of things. Would have really liked to see him try though.
I get it and I don't disagree, but- Well, I for one wouldn't mind some radical change. Just not in the direction that it is going right now. Radical in itself is nothing bad, when the status quo is as bad as it is.
It's terrible advice if you struggle with it.
I however cry quite easily. In hindsight all this "don't suppress your feelings" advice honestly always felt more directed at boys and men.
Learning to turn off and distract yourself from bad feelings is also a skill. I think quite a few people - especially women - struggle with that, me included.

If democrats in the US vote for stuff like Biden, then they're not voting for any radical change. Trump isn't comparable to that.

This. A lot of the earth doesn't look like this. And a lot of normal jobs are actively making it worse. Like, unfortunately you don't need to work for Nestle to be a part of that.
I'm not blaming any minimum wage worker at Amazon or retail or in factories of course. They got no choice. We live in a system where unemployment is ultimately better for the planet than a significant portion of jobs.
I start a project thinking "hey, I can just do that by hand really quick!". Then I spend weeks contemplating how stupid I am not to do this with a machine. Until the next project. I admit that I lowkey enjoy it though.

Lindy hop, a social dance (swing music). It costs something to join a course, but once you know what you're doing, it's not an expensive hobby I guess.

Juggling, unicycle. The circus crowd is a nice crowd to hang with and is usually not about the money whatsoever.
There are some groups in my city who organize non-profit training meetups together, multiple times a week. Usually in school sport halls, when the kids aren't there. In the summer, people meet in specific parks together. The biggest juggling convention in Europe (EJC) is basically a juggling festival with thousands of visitors every year, each time in a different country. Not free, but non-profit as well. There are lots of smaller conventions like that everywhere. If you ever feel like learning to juggle, feel free to come and join us!
