I really got into it this year (early 30’s) and I am straight kicking my younger self, when I knew someone with 5 pet birds and I didn’t care!
Haha, I wish I were this way, I feel weird not washing clothes one more time before throwing them off, as almost a goodbye ritual
I was (probably at some point willfully) unaware of this most of my childhood, and it was more fun to think about than the real thing. I miss the days when I could make up my own answers to references. :p
Puerto Rican here - this is unavoidable when flying to or from the island (although it’s not as loud as it used to be). It’s charming after the 100th time, even.
I live in San Francisco and ran into him at brunch a few weeks ago - he was super friendly when I came up to talk to him and super patient and sweet. I was super nervous that meeting him would ruin my image of him but it is still intact :)
The Manhole was eye-opening as a kid, I’m excited to see if it’s as weird as I remember!
