Hey, I agree with you for once! OP deserved it.

Nobody shielded me. People don't get banned just because "1000 people" harp on it. If the person follows the rules of the community, then they should be allowed to stay.

Also, about the OP's example. He deserved it. Because mint press sucks. But talking about me, in this thread if off topic. I had nothing to do with this OP.

Haha, thank you! I didn't really expect anyone to even read it, but I wanted to document for myself to hold myself accountable.

Actually, the school is a very recent online university based in Utah. I really like its super inexpensive model and love its mission to make education affordable for everyone. I grew up poor, had a kid when I was a teen, never got to finish college. Found this one, enrolled, and it's been really great.

Hardly anyone has heard of the college though, so I figured I'd yell into the void—since no one else will.

The real kicker? I’m a 55-year-old retired guy who decided I’m gonna be a college athlete. I always thought it would be cool to be a college rower, so fuck it, I decided to be a college rower.

There are national and international indoor rowing competitions, so I entered myself—and my school—into one.

So yeah, I’m on my college’s rowing team. (Okay, I’m the only team member... and I started the team!) But I’m training for competitive times. I looked at the times other colleges are hitting, and that’s my goal.

I'm hoping that as I meet other students in forums and stuff, that maybe a few will jump in with me, since it's indoor rowing. But if not, then it'll just be me, and that's ok too.
