GeoClue TZ: Privacy-First Linux Location Service
  • They could if GeoClue was reliable. The problem is that it often doesn't work, so I doubt anyone would want to use it as a source to set their time zone.

  • thoughts.greyh.at GeoClue TZ: Privacy-First Linux Location Service

Linux location services provided by GeoClue have been historically unreliable. Whether it’s VPN usage causing incorrect locations, rate limits from upstream services, or broken functionality after system upgrades, users often find themselves struggling with basic location-aware features.

Anon tells you about The Tragedy of Anakin Skywalker
  • It is okay, Darth Vader is the lead protagonist in the Star Wars universe. Without him, the Emperor would never have been defeated.

He is the one that goes through the hero's arc.

Luke Skywalker was a complete failure in every way possible. The only thing he succeeded at was being so worthless that Vader finally had to act and save both his son and the universe.

Has HP printers always been this bad?
  • Simple answer, ages ago there was a time when HP made okay printers. In the past decade or more, they have not. Stay away.

The bloatware and software stack is just abysmally bad.

Today I explored ssh-audit, a tool designed to audit SSH configurations. Although it’s an excellent tool, I found the hardening guides somewhat lacking. Hence, I decided to write a detailed walkthrough, ensuring the ssh/sshd configurations are easily readable.

  • Any chance that gravatar support could be implemented? This would allow some basic functionality without hosting content on lemm.ee servers.

However, in the spirit of continuous improvement, I recently embarked on a quest for re-evaluation and potential enhance...

My hunt for a new keyboard.

TLDR - Loving my new custom GMMK 2. Glorious Panda switches are fantastic.
