Why can't we have simple messaging app built for privacy, with good call and video options? Maybe a few emojis would be cool as well.

  You can even use stories in signal, though I turned it off in settings and have forgotten since launch that it exists until this post reminded me.

- Telegram started that way but as they became so big, the process of Enshittification has now begin. It happens to all tech platforms that become too big.

Sounds like a business savvy approach. You'll see people who want to make content and promote themselves on the platform subscribing.

I don't use Instagram and I read both this article and the linked telegram article and I still didn't see what it is.

Is it some kind of a photo album with selfies?
