Which is your favorite Firefox fork?
Which is your favorite Firefox fork?
There are a few nowadays
- Firefox vanilla
- Librewolf: https://librewolf.net/
- Arkenfox: https://github.com/arkenfox/user.js/
- Floorp: https://floorp.app/en
- Zen browser (similar to Arc): https://www.zen-browser.app/
Which one is your favorite, and why?
Librewolf - Because it's independent, focused on privacy, security and freedom.
33ReplyLibrewolf, though I don't really consider it a fork, more like a repackaged FireFox with sensible defaults. So far it's been great and I hope it stays around for a while.
31ReplyLibrewolf is a build script and build system with custom configs.

I don't know much about them, I just use vanilla and pay attention to any new features I might want to disable. I think my threat model trusts Mozilla more than these unknown third party folk.
25ReplyI'm a Waterfox user.
No particular reason. It doesn't have much fluff and it works well. That's all I ask for in a browser.
12ReplyRight now i’m with Floorp , but I jump from fork to fork often. I’ll probably give a shot to librewolf soon
11ReplyLibrewolf on Linux, Mull (not Mullvad Browser) on Android
10ReplyWhat about the MullVad browser? I'm really liking it so far, been using it as my daily driver for a bit now, it's rad!
9ReplyIts not Torbrowser but built from it. I see no place for it in my browsing behavior.
Librewolf with Cookie deletion, containers etc over a VPN makes more sense for me.
5Reply
Tor Browser.
8ReplyOn mobile? Mull. I don't bother with forks on the desktop.
8ReplyLibrewolf desktop, Mull mobile.
8ReplyWhat's mull mobile?Mull (Privacy oriented web browser) https://f-droid.org/packages/us.spotco.fennec_dos/

Thanks for mentioning this. I‘ll check some out. Which one is yours?
6ReplyI have Firefox, Floorp and Librewolf. They all have their perks and are solid options

Currently I'm residing with LibreWolf, only recently migrated away from standard FF after Mozilla announced their ad shenanigans..
5ReplyI main Mullvad on desktop and Mull for mobile. They are not related. You get used to it.

1ReplyFloorp. Librewolf got too annoying having to change settings to fullscreen, set google as the default search engine, sites breaking, and all for benefits i never see.
Floorp has the convenient sidebar, side by side tabs, and it Just Works
