I dunno. It's nice having at least some visual guidance that wasn't graphed out in Notepad.
I played Postal 2 and got stuck after a huge setpiece at the mall. I looked up a guide that just said "go through the shipping containers." I knew where the pile of shipping containers was, but could not for the life of me figure out where the fuck they had any way through.
An entire decade later, I bought it on Steam, played it on much nicer settings, and got stuck at the same damn part. I looked up what was probably the same guide. But this time - I found the one container that was open just enough to get in, and was open at the other side.
If someone claimed that Running With Scissors uploaded a fake pirate version where there just wasn't a way past that part, I would probably believe them.
Tried what I thought would work. Didn't for some reason. Spent the next three hours trying something else.
Was annoyed to have to look anything up for the game (best played completely blind), only to see exactly what I did the first time. Still no idea why it didn't work.
This is me 🙁
So many times I get stuck in a game and I don't like looking at walkthroughs but if I think I've tried everything I will. Every time it's either something I've already tried and didn't work, or I've completely missed a path to a new area somehow.
I hate this lol, the guide is no help because it just says to do the thing and it always turns out I'm just blind and missed a path because I habitually turn left instead of right.
