Of all the things I did not expect, this is on up there. But it is pretty awesome.
I can't help it I gotta tell ya, here's an article about it.
2ReplyNever went here but Ive been to the one in NYC which totally lived up to its legendary reputation, and the one in Houston that felt kinda like an Applebee's. So which one is the Austin one like?
-1ReplyI'm guessing it will be like tlan overpriced Applebee's.
1ReplyI am also. I wonder if they're just licensing the name because the 2 couldn't be more different.

The only people I knew who went to Austin's Katz's were out drinking and most recommended the pickle, or sometime that.
I wonder if this will try to be 24 hours.
Back then, there were very few options for food downtown at night.
Now, the food or atmosphere will have to be really good to keep people going back after the initial nostalgic visit.

Haha yeah that's why I went. I always felt bad for people who were working during those hours, for so many reasons.
