She thinks I'm making her a blanket
How do I tell her it's going to be a bag?
You're making her a blanket.

Correction: You were making a bag, now you are making a blanket. Kitty has decided for you.
38ReplyWell, technically, you're right. I paused the bag bc I need more crochet thread and started on a blanket for her

A bag is just a blanket you sit inside.
27ReplyThat's definitely her logic

she's probably going to be okay with you making her a bag.
edit: also, what pattern are you using for the more open sections?
(though one time I made a giant floppy laundry basket and my parent's dachshund was visiting over thinking it was a dog bed, so, this definitely happens.)
26ReplyMost of the things I make are for her, so I understand her confusion. I bet that dachshund was adorable in their new bed 😂
It's a bat lace bag pattern! This pattern is not mine, btw. My partner said I might want to clarify that 😅

It's simple. Turn this into a blanket for her. Then make a bag.
24ReplyI have chosen a different path in which I make her a blanket with a neat lil heart stitch that I'm pretty sure I'm not doing right
6ReplyThat's perfect. And she won't mind if the stitching is off.

It doesn't matter what you were making; it's Bitty's now.
16ReplyYou got me there. Also, I love that you recognized her!

It's cat. You make bag, you can carry kitty.
It's the rules of nature, right? 🐱
15Replybitty strikes again
9ReplyI wish we had fan club goodies for you
4ReplyBitty's wonderful crocheted clothes would be wasted on me, as my cat hates clothes. He did tolerate being dressed as a sailor once.

You know Bitty. Always strikin
3ReplyAfter she's done napping with her "blanket"
