Thousands of cars that crash in US are ending up in Russia

Poor russians, now they have to deal with the garbage cars produced in the US.

This reminds me of the (I think several?) dudes who were selling used trucks to the middle east either directly or through a proxy with most of them being bought by the various insurgency/terrorist groups.

I assume most don’t end up in Russia but in richer EU countries. Those cars are repaired and made presentable again in some backyard mechanic shop in Georgia and the Baltics, then thrown on the used car market.

They're trying to cash in on the extended warranties.
