Aren't Java and JavaScript the same anyway?
Java is to JavaScript as car is to carpet.
One takes you places, the other is a nasty dirt magnet. Which one is which is entirely subjective.
I once told my boss that when I advertised as being a java dev when he was wondering why I was having a hard time with JS. He still didn't get it and thought one was a subset of the other. I had to explain to him that you don't drive your carpet to work, they are infact different and only share some letters in common.
Yeah. And Vim and VSCode are one product, as well, if configured correctly.

No. JavaScript doesn't have types. Java and TypeScript are the same though.
Kotlin is much closer to Typescript than Java.
But typescript is not real OO, it's a meta language trying to make javascript useable, so basically typescript isn't like anything.
I didn't get the joke until I read this and took another look.
