Elden Ring 2 Not Happening Any Time Soon, Says FromSoftware

We already have Elden Ring 2, it's called Shadow of the Erdtree.

That shouldn't really be news to anyone. They've stretched themselves almost too thin with the scale of Elden Ring, and it's a miracle, that it's turned out this damn good.

But even besides that, I'd always take a well put together game every 5 years, than some uninspired yearly slop. Good games are still art

As much as I loved Elden Ring, it can be considered Demon’s Soul 6. I would rather have something like Bloodborne or Sekiro or something new.

Good. They took their time to create a masterpiece this time, plus a pretty great expansion in short order. I would be upset if they said they were rushing to put out something just to cash in.

good, now in order to rest I recommend FromSoft's team to do an "AC6: shadow of the Erdtree Rubicon" to capitalize on Secret Level :P

In the modern era? The only direct immediate sequel (our favorite team at) From did was Dark Souls 2 (which was largely a second team anyway). They alternate games (Demon, Another Century, Dark 1, Armored Core 5, Dark 2, Bloodborne, Dark 3, Sekiro, Elden Ring, Armored Core, Shadows of the Erdtree)

And from checking Wikipedia? Basically ever since the first Armored Core they have been alternating games anyway.
