13This is definitely the way for me too. In fact, in the rare instances when I don’t have internet, I have a hard time settling without my habitual mindless scrolling before sleep.

Honestly, it's more about the noise for me, I need some sort of background noise to fall asleep. Mindless let's plays are my go to, a game I've played and cherish so I don't need to focus on, but helps me be comfortable and fall asleep
7If you've been unable to sleep for a while, the best advice I've ever been given is to leave the bed for at least 15 minutes. What I usually do is go to my living room, lie on the sofa and read a book or something. After around 15 minutes I go back to bed and give sleep a try.
It never works out to lie sleepless for extended periods in bed, so just accept the fact of your sleeplessness and do something else for a while.

1Turn on your phones red light/eye comfort shield. If you can enable an extra dim setting do that too. Go watch some relaxing videos, I prefer accidental ASMR videos and then I'm out.
