As well they should be. You guys all deserve better from us. Don't give us your money until you get it.
No problem. Not even feeding Reddit.
A third of Canadians need to get their heads on right.
They're a danger to the country. We dodged Poilievre this time, but next time those 34% will still be there and voting to take Canada down the dark path the USA is on.
they probably can't because they got measles and can't stop thinking about having sex with Trudeau
They need to get their heads on straight.
Having them slanted to the right is a big part of the problem.

It is really weird to me that you felt the need to do this.
Approaching levels not seen since the War of 1812, even.
34% positive, wow..
I was also surprised that it was that high, but then I remembered the exchange rate.
Americans’ opinion of the U.S. and its president are at or near historic lows.
Hej Canada! You are not alone in this!
I know that word from t-shirts on Ikea employees!
Hallo meneer Ikea!
Yes indeed! Hej is printed on Ikea shirt and is just Swedish for Hi
However,
Hallo meneer Ikea!
is dutch ;)
Everyone south of Toronto (not including the actual city), most of everyone around the St Lawrence River in Quebec and all of Alberta still love America, no matter who's leading it.
It's the strangest thing ... I've got friends and family in rural southern Ontario in Haldimand County who might as well be from the southern states, friends in Quebec who barely speak English but love to vacation in Florida and Albertans who are just plain ol racist asshats that fall right into the MAGA cult ..... everywhere else and you'll find most northern Canadians who live away from everything just absolutely don't like Americans.
I'm in QC and no, people hates Trump and most of them don't go in the USA anymore. Yes there is always some people going there for vacations like Myrtle Beach or Disney, unfortunately, but they are a small minority. For instance last year, end of school, 2 to 3h wait time at the border. This year, 2 or 3 cars only.
Yeah, pretty sure the stats support this take -- QC has been pretty uniform / pointed in their response.
My guess is that it's partly tied to the realization that "if" that annexation stuff happened, and Canada eventually 'lost', there's no way QC culture / french language stuff would have the same sort of power/clout as part of the USA. Especially with the current government trends, which aren't exactly welcoming of other cultures.
Likely similar sentiments amongst many FN, in that a USA annexed Canada would absolutely give the finger to any and all treaty type things. Canada's approach to integration may not have been great, but the USA was much more inclined to extermination and is absolutely not as supportive as Canada is on that front. Like the Mohawk weren't really a "Canadian" band with large traditional territories in Canada -- they're basically from New York, and were displaced by America killing em off, and Canada (or the brits, as Canada wasn't really much of a thing back then) welcomed them as refugees / gave them some space. Tyendinaga, for example, was founded around 1780, it's not exactly their ancestral homeland. They're one of the biggest groups at this point, even though they started off in Canada as refugees. If groups like Idle No More started blocking 'public' roads/rail to impede projects in an annexed Canada, they'd absolutely get sent to alligator Auschwitz for re-education, and the band involved would get labelled as a terrorist group.
All of Alberta is bs. I don’t know anybody here who likes them. Stop pushing this shit. There is a small amount of people who are just noisy.
I have a cousin that recently moved to Calgary from southern Ontario ... young guy in his 20s .. Indigenous Mohawk but fully passes as an average white guy. From the way he describes the city and most people .... no one really cares about politics all that much ... if its full on MAGA, racist, homophobic crap, they join in .. if its NDP socially minded all inclusive, they'll join that too ... everyone just joins whatever band wagon is taking place and they don't care where the politics are coming from
We're on vacation near Goderich. 1 "white lives matter" sign, but SO many "No Hate in Huron" signs. Very glad people are countering the hate messaging.
Sounds like you have really shitty friends.
I have a lot of friends ... and extended family all over the place ... I don't choose if they have shitty politics or don't know any better ... but I still call them family, even if they have a shitty, narrow view of the world ... but it also means I spend as little time with them as possible.
the U.S. and its president: "We can make it lower!"
I typically do not trust polls but this one is like being an expert in the obvious.
It really isn't. It should be much lower.
"Near"?
In other news, 34% of Canadians live under a rock or are criminally stupid.
Some percentage of that is likely profiting under the arrangement.
