I love the level of decay at each shelf. That middle one seems to be protected but the bottom one is getting exposed to something

  Nah, I agree: Those are not books. Those are folders.

  While they might technically fit the loose definition, these are two ring file folders. They are definitely on a bookshelf though, so don’t why anyone would take offense to that.
