When i first heard the description of this poem, the language used made me think this was a drawing of a womans figure. That is obviously a young girl 💀
Do we ever see mainstream news media refer to the ruling or working class?
Nah, that would be biting the hand that feeds them if not the hand that IS them.
The billionaire-owned media will always side with its owners and their ruling class buddies while trying with varying degrees of believability to pretend that they're controlled by and for the benefit of regular people.
Hah, good one. Unless it's somewhere like China or Russia we don't use the "oligarch" word.
Heads will roll. We are quickly approaching revolution
People really want to believe this is true, but what a joke. Americans will roll over and let it happen like they have for fifty-some odd years now or more.
It will take people not being able to feed their families before anyone stands up, and by that point, the entire sham of American democracy will be a distant memory crushed under the boot of totalitarian surveillance authoritarianism.
Americans are fucking cowed and always have been. Nobody gave a single fucking shit when I was young and able bodied, and now I am old and bitter and cancer ridden and I've seen more young men support the bullshit that's happening than stand against it.
But you know, tell yourself whatever helps you sleep at night, I guess.
History proves you wrong. Every major challenge to our democracy, from our inception, has been overcome with blood, sweat and plenty of tears.
Americans will roll over and let it happen like they have for fifty-some odd years now or more.
You're old now but apparently can't remember all the victories over the last 50 years? Title IX? ADA? Same-sex marriage? First black president? First woman speaker? That's just off the top of my head - your willful ignorance is actually shocking to me, shameful.
It's extremely important that we do not allow the offspring of these child rapists to inherit their empire.
Redistribute their wealth and make them work like the rest of us.
At least they shot Charlie Kirk. It’s a start.
I was just about to say, it's about to get more and more frequent.
Yet nothing will come of it, maybe a protest or two but it will be meaningless.
The reason why nothing will happen is because for generations we have been taught that only through nonviolent peaceful protests can change be achieved. Which is the biggest scam this country has ever produced, yes bigger than everything else the conservatives have ever done. The death of civil disobedience, the death of making the wealthy and the powerful uncomfortable with our protests is what killed any attempt to course correct.
Want to achieve real meaningful progress? Then trash the rich and powerful’s toys, prevent them from ever stepping foot outside without the risk of themselves being covered in piss, shit, blood and garbage. Make them miserable and suddenly things improve. The second you give even a hint of credibility to peaceful nonviolent protests then you fall for the trap.
This country is run by pedophiles and all of them should never be allowed to step foot outside without being treated like they treat the rest of us. Treat them worse than that even, they harmed us for hundreds of years so make they suffer righteous retribution.
I always tell this to people calling me to go to protests now: "Call me when you guys actually intend to burn shit down and drag some necks into the guillotine. If you're just gonna pretend to be angry, I'm not interested." No change will ever come from playing their game, Dr King showed everybody that even if you're playing with their rules, you'll still end up with a bullet if you become too big of a threat. The real game is all about violence, one side is more than willing to use it, why aren't we?
King's protests held weight because the movement could potentially turn violent if he wasn't listened to. It's what happened with Gandhi.
If you're not willing to go to even simple protests, I have terrible believing you'd be up for anything violent.
Plus protests have more users than their immediate effects.
Well, the simple answer is that the other side has military hardware. Most people don't want to be martyrs, so it won't happen until someone steps up and crowd mentality kicks in.
