Don't want to see anyone get hurt, but FFS the Russian people just went along with it when Putin came to power and steadily gained ever more control of the government. The Russian people could have stopped this 10, 15, 20 years ago but didn't. Now they have an entrenched mad man in there who controls everything, has gotten them into a pointless war in Ukraine, and clearly shows no sign of stepping down.
Attacks on Russian soil have only started.

-4Bill was President up until 2001 and Putin gained power only 2 years earlier. At the time there was no reason not to support him. He was a freely elected leader. But that was 2 decades ago and a whole lot of things changed since then.

This is exceptionally interesting considering the fact that Ukraine has made great use of western-supplied night vision against Russian forces. It seems logical that they would want to deny such an advantage to their enemies.
