Anyone know a good source for the history of space flight technology that isn't U$ biased? I'm compiling references for good info about this kind of stuff, and haven't dove into this yet. Considering the U$ propaganda and hegemony, you won't get any information past "sputnik", "first man in space", then "america landed on the moon boom first removed fuck ya U$A U$A". But I'm pretty sure I've heard the USSR never actually claimed they were racing to go to the moon. But I'm looking for facts, not just the stuff I've heard about. Sites, books, pamphlet recommendations, etc. are all welcomed.

0Scott Manley has done a few decent videos on Soviet space flight tech. He's also one of the few western space tech youtubers or journalists who mostly avoids sprinkling lib cringe into his commentary. Sources are often linked as well.
