Glad it's getting expanded. I live near a light rail station and I use it to get to downtown for work. Between that and the fact that I live between a couple of grocery stores in easy walking distance(not to mention a nice Asian market across the street with $6 banh mi!), I don't need a car.
Agreed! Recently moved back to Seattle and have yet to find a permanent place. But my goal is to be as close to a light rail station as possible so I don't have to rely on cars
I'm excited to see it expanded. Hopefully public use and esteem will increase as well. Last time I was home I rode from SeaTac to Northgate-- or I would have, if there wasn't a service disruption in the tunnel near Pioneer Square station which prompted two selfish impatient passengers to pull the emergency stop/exit release. The whole time they were complaining about how awful, slow, and unusable public transit is, before making public transit unusable for all the rest of us... I just hope their attitude/outlook is the minority so our infrastructure can improve.
