4Simple Mobile Tools (the creator of Simple Gallery, a very popular gallery app) sold out to a scummy ad company. This is a fork of the Simple Gallery app that won't include all the telemetry and ads the new owners will inject it with.

Nice! The settings export/import from the SMT version to the new Fossify version works perfectly, plus we get a nice green icon, to easily tell them apart. So happy they're forking these apps.
2settings export/import reduces the transition to 8 clicks (touches?)

1Im glad that they forked it but I wish it still had the advanced editor stuff that the original simple gallery had. Yea I know some parts of it were proprietary but it was really the only open source gallery that actually had a video editor. I think I'll stick to using the OG until another new project comes out that has video editing, or this project gets video editing added to it.
