Ketchup on scrambled eggs is delicious
- It’s also the most normie thing imaginable. If Family Feud had a “topping for eggs” question, ketchup would be the top survey response.

  I believe the reason this debate exists is that pizza is communal food.
  People make haggis jokes, but nobody has strong opinions on haggis because it stays in Scotland and Scottish people’s houses where it belongs. My boss has never thrown the office a haggis party and my friends have never ordered haggis delivery for game night.
  
  I think it’s one of those topics people bring up just to have something to talk about, nobody’s really heated.

One time I put ketchup on my eggs and some called it “some east coast ass shit”.
- Well that’s just not true.
Eggs are gross as shit. Ketchup makes them edible.
- It really depends on how they are cooked, IMHO. (I am making the assumption that you still eat eggs if you must, but with lots of cover-up.)
  If eggs are your only option for food and you have no ketchup, cook them in bacon grease or with lots of butter. Salts and fats work wonders for any food.
  Even fried eggs with a little soy sauce (mushroom soy sauce, specifically) may change the texture and taste enough for you.
  (Also, IMHO, cooking eggs many different ways is an art form. It doesn’t take much to fuck them up and turn people off of them.)
It’s also a thing about culture eh, here in The Netherlands people will look weird when you put ketchup on egg, while in Japan it’s an actual dish (with rice and chicken) called omurice.
