[iPhone 15PM iOS 17.4] More Information About Battery Health Is Shown In Settings
Looks like cycle count, manufacture date and first use date are all new. I wonder if the information will be accurate for aftermarket batteries?
It's so weird to me why they limit this to the 15 series. Older phones clearly have this information (you can get this data with coconutBattery) and having this information is hardly a killer feature that makes people upgrade.

6Totally agree. Some of the software gatekeeping from Apple frustrates the hell out of me because when you’re spending so much on a self professed premium device something as small as battery age shouldn’t be device specific.

Aftermarket batteries are the same as they were - just a warning, no capacity info.

2103 cycle count? nice. i try not to charge mine much and I'm at 119 cycles. with the exact same dates!
2It’s a bit strange because I charge it practically every night. I do have it limited to 80%, I don’t know if that would be the difference.

Can we use any appstore apps to achieve this or are those app limited to what they can display?
