Not the game I would recommend to new fallout fans.
56I loved 3 and NV, and I tolerated 4. Now I'm having some fun with 76 and don't quite get the hate.

31Found the series when 3 released. Like many people I thought fallout would he awesome with coop multi-player. 76 is not the experience myself or I'm guessing most people had in mind. I'm not saying there is anything inherently wrong with the game. Just not what I was looking for when thinking "multi-player fallout".

But yes, I'm aware of the state of FO76 at release. I honestly could not care less about this game then or now.
The point was that it doesn't matter how much of the game may have been fixed. It could literally be the greatest MMO ever now, and people would say it's the worst game ever because their knowledge of the game begins and ends at the broken launch. And there's a sense of pride in that ignorance. And that's gamers being fucking stupid.

I had a lot of fun with it with friends in the early days, but it tried its hardest to ensure I didn’t. I remember getting some sweet gear from a friend that was perfect for my build right before a server crash. When we logged back in, the gear was just gone. Customer support completely ignored us.
9nice! I didn't try it when it came out but I played a few years ago and it was fine, a lot of fun if you're a fallout fan. It doesn't have the depth of ESO or anything but being able to craft your own forts and have folks visit them is a lot of fun, and the huge boss battles with lot of other players can also be a lot of fun.
